Booked our safari with MICS Tours and Safaris and was really impressed. They had a custom-made 4x4 safari land cruiser for us. I was able to sit on my wheel chair whilst in the vehicle, it was very accommodating otherwise It would have been impossible to enjoy the safari without this facility. I would highly recommend this company especially for people with special needs.

Our guide peter was a lovely man and he is specialised with clients like myself. Nothing was so difficult for him and I really appreciated his job, he made our trip a memorable one.

We visited Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli over five days and stayed at the Ashnil Aruba lodge, Kilaguni serena and Oltukai lodge respectively and did see all the Big five plus hundreds of other mammals and birds.

Jambo!I found that Mics tours and safaris, are efficient and well organised intheir booking procedures, but more importantly than that our tour guideMoses managed to create a feeling that our tour was personally createdfor us. He was able to provide us with interesting facts about everyanimal that we saw, and went to extra lengths to ensure that we had theopportunity to see every animal we wanted to witness, and we were luckyenough to see all the of the Big 5!! In the evening Moses entertained us with fascinating stories about theMaasai tribe, something that was obviously beyond his job description,and was utterly priceless, and again demonstrated how the mics safariexperience was about ensuring the guests had the best two days possible,and it was not simply about driving around in a jeep.I would just like to say a thank you to you, and more specifically toMoses, for ensuring that Laura, Naomi and I had a truly amazing safari,and we look forward to revisiting Kenya soon.In the meantime my sister Chantal Gerard will be meeting you in October- I have already advised her to change her bus tour to a Jeep tour - ifonly for the roads to Tsavo! Our safari, hosted by Moses Masai, was a truly wonderful experience. We were well looked after and Moses did his utmost to show us the Big 5 plus many other animals. The safari was the highlight of our holiday and will remain one of my most memorable trips. A special thanks to Moses who was professional, enthusiastic and tireless in his bid to give us a fantastic safari. Thank you!

Two excellent safaris! Governors' Camp was amazing and our safari to Tsavo was excellent, too. Although we saw fewer animals and at a greater distance (and missed the elusive rhino!) in Tsavo, Moses worked hard for long hours to make it as rewarding and as enjoyable as he could. His efforts really were appreciated. I must say that I was very concerned at having to make large payments before leaving on safari: I have never handed over such a large sum to people I have never seen before, in a country I have never visited before! However, MICS reputation on tripadvisor.co.uk was, one factor which gave me some confidence, along with the professional approach of Peter when we booked, and Nancy and Washington when they visited our hotel prior to departure. Thoroughly recommended!!

2 days Tsavo east and west - a thoroughly enjoyable experience - driver was superb and we found being in the landrover was much better than a bus as we got to see more animals. lodges were great. Only downfall was the terrible roads that you have to travel over to get there - it makes the drive long and uncomfortable

Hi Washington and the others, We had a save journey to the Netherlands and now I am typing on my own computer. I visit your website and see the guestbook. Very nice! Its now 2 weeks ago that we go on safari and we remember it the whole day, this time! We have seen the film of the elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetah's, leopards, buffalo's, zebra's, hippo's, crocodile's etc. etc. It was a very very nice time to go on safari with you!! Hello Peter, Nancy, Lucy and all the other ones, Thank you again for the great safari's we had. Everything was perfect, just like the last time. You know that we are coming back next year with our son Steven and his friend Marc. We had a long look today at our foto's and film, we can't get enough. I will make a cd and bring it to you next year. Also give our regards to Peter, the driver, he gave us the best, and also a good person. Next year we bring something for the MICS-jeep. We visited Kenya for a second holiday with children in 2006. Having researched private Safaris on the internet we chose to use MICS safaris after much positive feed back on other web sites. We used MICS, based on a friend's recommendation, to book a 3 night stay in the Mara. Everything was done with minimum hassle online and we were very pleased with the service they provided and the quality of the camps that they recommended to us.

Hi Peter & Nancy, Just to say we thoroughly enjoyed our safari in Tsavo, the jeep coupled with our excellent driver Timo was a sheer thrill & something we will never forget. Timo was a true professional throughout & his knowledge of the animals was first class, we got to see the big 5 including 3 leopards! (seeing 1 is rare I am led to believe). A big thank you to Bedan and Washington ! They made out short stay in Lake Nukuru and the Masai Mara totally unforgetable. Having 2 guides/drivers was wonderful - our off road excursions were breathtaking to say the least! We saw an amazing number of beautiful animals at close proximity. Bedan and Washinton worked hard to show us as much as possible. We were extremely fortunate in seeing not only the Big 5 but also many other animals. We will certainly recommend MICS to all our friends and anyone who is looking for a great safari. Many thanks for a totally perfect safari. A big thanks to Peter for putting it all together - Hotel Kunste was "interesting" and Mara Simba Lodge was paradise. Hopefully, MICS can send us to the Serengeti next year. We would like to say ‘Thank you very much’ for your excellent way of guiding and driving us during our 11 days safari (Tsavo East, Amboseli, Aberdares, Samburu, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara). Your knowledge and explanation about the animals and birds was excellent as well. We will never forget the many times we said ‘stop’ to observe the Kenyan wildlife and the way you have driven the bus in very good positions. Just only after our ‘Hallelujah’ you continued the game drive which brought us to other exciting moments. We also want to say ‘Thank you very much’ to the MICS organisation, who created on our request a perfect safari. The bookings, tented camps, lodges, food, flight back to Mombasa, etc was, again, excellent. We will give our recommendations to everybody to book a safari by MICS Safaris! Thanks for a fantastic 2 day safari to Tsavo East and West, you were so efficient from the beginning, Peter our guide was amazing and made the whole experience really special for us, we booked the jeep rather than a minibus-well worth it and we will be doing the same when we return, thanks again to all of you.
