1 Day Shimba Hills

 

 Mombasa/SouthCoastNorth Coast/Watamu/Malindi to Tsavo East

Pick up from your hotel  at 6.00am and drive for 30min (South Coast) North Coast 1 Hr 30Min to Shimba Hills Game reserve. Game viewing will start immediately until 9.30am when you take a ranger guided walk to the Sheldrick waterfalls where you will take a dip or just relax.  (Needs a little bit of some energy)

 

After an hour or so, return to the vehicle at the observation hill and proceed to the Shimba hills Lodge for your lunch. After lunch, you will have another game viewing session until 4.00pm when you drive back to your hotel.

 

You May choose to visit the nearby Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary after lunch.

 

The main attractions at Shimba rainforest are the Sable Antelope, Elephants, occasional Leopard, giraffes, buffaloes and impalas.
